Wesley Huff
Apologetics CanadaWesley Huff is a dynamic Christian apologist, public speaker, and the Vice President for Apologetics Canada, known for his compelling defense of the Christian faith rooted in historical and textual scholarship. Born in Multan, Pakistan, to missionary parents, Wesley spent his early childhood in the Middle East, including Amman, Jordan, before returning to Canada. His unique upbringing in a diverse household, where his mother (a missionary kid raised in India) kept texts like the Bhagavad Gita, Book of Mormon, and Quran alongside the Bible, fostered an early curiosity about worldviews.
A pivotal moment came at age eleven when Wesley was miraculously healed from a rare neurological condition, acute transverse myelitis, which left him paralyzed from the waist down for a month— for which the doctors themselves had no medical explanation. This experience, along with a great deal of study and soul searching in his later teen years, solidified his interest in faith and in engaging the beliefs and worldview perspectives of others. He spent his high school years in Northern Ontario and lives in Toronto, Canada, with his wife and three children. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in New Testament at the University of Toronto’s Wycliffe College, Wesley combines academic rigor with an accessible, engaging style that resonates with diverse audiences.
Wesley’s prominence skyrocketed in late 2024 following a viral YouTube debate with Billy Carson, which garnered millions of views and caught the attention of global influencers. This led to his historic appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience in January 2025, where he defended the reliability of Scripture and the resurrection of Jesus over a three-hour conversation, amassing nearly 5 million YouTube views alone and potentially tens of millions across platforms - making it one of the widest-reaching gospel presentations in history. He further expanded his reach on Flagrant with comedians Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh in May 2025, articulating the gospel with clarity and humor, and has also appeared on the PBD Podcast with Patrick Bet-David, Piers Morgan Uncensored and Breaking Bread with Russell Brand. His online presence has exploded, with his YouTube channel growing from 1,200 to 450,000 subscribers, and his own content - including debates and apologetics videos - have accumulated over 6.2 million views… inspiring countless individuals to explore the Bible and faith. Wesley’s ability to navigate complex theological and historical discussions with grace and confidence has established him as a leading voice in modern Christian apologetics.
We’re honored to welcome Wesley as one of our speakers for the 1613 Conference as we all seek to live boldly and faithfully for Christ. Anthony Muñoz
NFL Hall of FamerAnthony Muñoz, born August 19, 1958, in Ontario, California, is widely regarded as the greatest offensive lineman in NFL history. In fact, the NFL 100 All-Time Team, selected in 2019 to commemorate the league’s centennial anniversary, named Anthony Muñoz as one of the 100 greatest players in NFL history on their official website. And, in 2022, an ESPN panel further cemented his legacy by naming him the greatest offensive tackle in NFL history.
A 6’6”, 278-pound left tackle, Muñoz redefined the position with his rare combination of size, agility, and strength, earning a place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998, his first year of eligibility, as the first Cincinnati Bengals player enshrined. His unparalleled career and off-field contributions have left an enduring legacy in football and beyond. Muñoz starred at the University of Southern California (USC), earning consensus All-American honors in 1978 and 1979, despite undergoing three knee surgeries that raised concerns about his durability.
Anthony also played baseball at USC as a pitcher and also saw time at third base. He was part of the Trojans' 1978 national championship baseball team, contributing as a pitcher during his sophomore year. Muñoz played baseball at USC for at least one season (1978), though his primary focus was football, and injuries limited his overall athletic participation.
Selected third overall by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 1980 NFL Draft, he quickly dispelled doubts about his durability, starting in 185 of 186 games over his 13-year career (1980–1992). Muñoz was a cornerstone of the Bengals’ success, anchoring offenses that led to two Super Bowl appearances (XVI and XXIII), three AFC Central Division titles, and two AFC Championships (1981 and 1988). His athleticism and quickness neutralized the league’s fastest defensive ends, while his durability saw him miss only three games in his first 12 seasons. Muñoz earned 11 consecutive Pro Bowl selections (1981–1991), tying the record for an offensive lineman at the time, and was named First-Team All-Pro nine times. He was voted NFL Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1981, 1987, and 1988, and NFL Players Association Lineman of the Year in 1981, 1985, 1988, and 1989. In 1994, he was named to the NFL’s 75th Anniversary All-Time Team, and in 2010, he ranked #12 on the NFL Network’s Top 100: NFL’s Greatest Players, the highest-ranked offensive lineman. A versatile athlete, Muñoz even caught seven passes for 18 yards and four touchdowns on tackle-eligible plays.
Beyond the gridiron, Muñoz’s impact is profound. A devout Christian, he credits his faith, rooted in a 1978 encounter with a Campus Crusade for Christ staff member at USC, as the cornerstone of his life. In 2002, he founded the Anthony Muñoz Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to impacting Tri-State area youth mentally, physically, and spiritually. The foundation has reached over 57,500 children and raised more than $16 million for programs fostering character, education, and opportunity. Muñoz’s commitment to service earned him the 1991 NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year Award for his excellence on and off the field, as well as the Athletes in Action Bart Starr Award for Leadership in 1990. He also served as chairman of the 2002 Billy Graham Crusade in Cincinnati, reflecting his deep faith and community leadership.
Muñoz remains a Cincinnati icon, serving as a color commentator for Bengals’ preseason games and engaging in numerous community initiatives, including speaking at high school assemblies and supporting causes like Cystic Fibrosis. In 2022, he was named the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Chief Football Relationship Officer, leveraging his credibility to promote the Hall’s mission. He is also a sought-after keynote speaker, addressing leadership and resilience, and it is our honor to welcome him to the 1613 Men’s Conference. (1 Corinthians 16:13 - “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong”). His message of perseverance, faith, and service continues to inspire, embodying the values of a true Hall of Famer.

John Lovell
Warrior Poet SocietyJohn Lovell, born in Texas, is a combat veteran, pastor, bestselling author, and founder of the Warrior Poet Society, a values-based community dedicated to physical protection, the pursuit of truth, and living for a higher purpose. A former U.S. Army Ranger, former Christian missionary to Central America, and influential content creator, Lovell’s message of balanced masculinity, rooted in faith and strength, has garnered over 100 million views across YouTube, social media, and the Warrior Poet Society Network streaming platform.
Lovell’s journey began in the military, where he served as a Special Operations soldier in the 2nd Ranger Battalion, completing multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. After his service, he spent four years as a full-time Christian missionary in Central America, sharing the gospel and deepening his faith. A devout Protestant, Lovell now pastors at Grace City Church in Rome, Georgia, where he preaches unapologetically, urging believers to live out their faith with courage and unity.
Settling on a small farm in Georgia with his wife, Rebekah, and their two sons, Lovell embodies the family-man ethos he champions. His commitment to fatherhood is central to his life, as he strives to raise his sons to be strong, bold, and faithful men in a “dangerous world filled with lies.” He views fatherhood as a sacred duty, balancing love and protection, and stresses the importance of family over career, advising young men to “grind early” but prioritize faith and relationships.
As a public speaker, firearms trainer, and homesteader, Lovell founded the Warrior Poet Society to train individuals in self-defense and foster a mindset of courage and integrity. His book, The Warrior Poet Way: A Guide to Living Free and Dying Well became an instant Wall Street Journal Bestseller, and outlines his philosophy of balancing the “lion and lamb”—being both a fierce protector and a compassionate lover. Lovell’s YouTube channel, The John Lovell Show, and podcast offer commentary on current events, practical self-defense tips, and discussions on masculinity, addressing issues like the disenfranchisement of young men and the need for mentorship. His framework for masculinity rests on three pillars—belonging, skill, and fearlessness—warning against “cheap substitutes” like obsession with sports or video games. With over 3 million social media followers, his content, laced with humor and “lame dad jokes,” resonates widely, particularly among men seeking purpose in an “age of tolerance” that he believes often sacrifices integrity for niceness.
Lovell’s outspokenness on issues like censorship and cultural decline reflects his belief in an ongoing “ideological war.” He critiques media narratives and encourages men to reject passivity in favor of bold, faith-driven action. We’re honored to welcome John to the 1613 Conference as he encourages men in the areas of faith, family, and resilience. Living with his family in Georgia, Lovell continues to inspire through his multifaceted life as a warrior, poet, pastor, and protector.

Joel Salatin
America’s Lunatic FarmerJoel F. Salatin, born February 24, 1957, in Anderson, Indiana, is a third-generation farmer, lecturer, and author whose revolutionary practices at Polyface Farm in Swoope, Virginia, have made him a global leader in regenerative agriculture. Self-described as a “Christian libertarian environmentalist capitalist lunatic farmer,” Salatin’s innovative methods, blending faith, ecological stewardship, and contrarian principles, have earned him recognition as TIME magazine’s “world’s most innovative farmer” and Virginia’s “most eclectic thinker since Thomas Jefferson.” His influence spans books, films, and high-profile media appearances, inspiring a movement toward sustainable, local food systems.
Raised in a family committed to biblical stewardship, Salatin’s early life shaped his rejection of industrial agriculture. His father, William, purchased a 1,000-acre farm in Venezuela, where Joel spent his early childhood until a 1959 revolution forced relocation. In 1961, the family settled in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, purchasing a 550-acre, eroded farm that became Polyface. Influenced by J.I. Rodale’s organic principles, Salatin’s parents avoided chemical farming. After earning a B.A. in English from Bob Jones University in 1979 and working briefly as a journalist, Salatin returned to Polyface in 1982 to farm full-time with his wife, Teresa, whom he married in 1980. They have two children, Daniel and Rachel, and four generations of Salatins now work the farm.
At Polyface, Salatin pioneered rotational grazing, pastured poultry, and grass-fed beef, managing 72 hectares of pasture and 190 hectares of woodland, plus 404 leased hectares. His “salad bar beef” and “pigaerator pork” rely on daily livestock rotation to mimic natural cycles, restoring soil without chemicals or vaccines. The farm serves over 5,000 families, 50 restaurants, and 10 retail outlets, generating $1.83 million annually. Salatin’s transparency—open farm tours and no trade secrets—builds consumer trust.
A devout Christian, Salatin views farming as a sacred act of stewarding God’s creation, guided by 1 Corinthians 4:2. His faith fuels his rejection of subsidies and organic certification, favoring decentralized food systems. He has authored 14 books, including You Can Farm and Folks, This Ain’t Normal, and edits The Stockman Grass Farmer.
Salatin’s media presence is extensive, with appearances that include The Joe Rogan Experience in 2014 (#479), 2020 (#1478), and The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast (#539). Salatin also starred in the 2011 documentary American Meat, and in the 2025 project from Angel Studios, The Lunatic Farmer. His Beyond Labels podcast and YouTube presence further his influence, inspiring farmers and homesteaders globally.
Salatin’s debt-free farm and mentorship of apprentices prove his model’s success. Joel continues to champion small farms, and… living with Teresa on Polyface… he continues to lecture, write, and speak - including at the 1613 Men’s Conference.
